Hospital expenses
Ask about consultations, investigations, clinician and anaesthesia fees, surgery, implants, medicines, blood products and intensive care. Clarify charges for extra days, further procedures and complications in writing.
Outside hospital and after returning

Payment and a changed plan
Confirm the recipient, timing and payment method; obtain official hospital invoices and receipts. If assessment changes the plan, request an updated estimate before agreeing where possible. Ask the payment recipient for written cancellation and refund terms.
